The ultimate goal of SIDSConnect is to collect an overwhelming amount of observational data from foundations providing alarmed baby monitors in the USA and the rest of the world, which would convince governments to provide monitors to infants regularly as part of their health care plans.
SIDSConnect was founded in 2023 by Dr. George M. Kurzon, Jr.
Dr. Kurzon is a graduate of Harvard College (1951, AB) and McGill Medical School (1955, MD). He was a pediatric resident at the University of Virginia Hospital in 1958 and 1959.
